NAIA Women's Soccer Weekly Honors Announced for Oct. 31

In the final Player of the Week release of the season, Nicole Revenaugh of William Jewell (Mo.) was named the NAIA Women's National Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 28.

 

Revenaugh, a redshirt junior forward from Kansas City, MO netted six goals and added two assists in two conference games over the week.  She had two goals against Avila (Mo.) and followed that up with a four-goal, two-assist performance against Missouri Valley.  Revenaugh helped lead William Jewell to a 15-1 regular season record, scoring 31 goals in just sixteen matches.

Jill Colfer-Martinson of Azusa Pacific (Calif.) was named the NAIA Women's National Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 28.

 

Colfer - Martinson, from Sacramento, California, wins the final Player of the Week distinction for the third time this year. The 5-9 senior stopped 5 shots last week and ran her consecutive scoreless minute's streak to 496. The three-time NAIA All-America goalkeeper is Azusa Pacific's career shutout leader with 45 and ran her personal shutout streak to five straight games, giving her 11 on the season.
