2018 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week No. 4 (March 20)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cole Gingell of Madonna (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Gary Cutler of Madonna has been named the NAIA National Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 12 - 18 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and unaffiliated group winners.

Offensive Player of the Week Cole Gingell, Madonna 6-0, FR, Northville, Mich.

  • Gingell’s 12 points (six goals, six assists) against Asbury (Ky.) are program records and his three goals and three assists were key in MU's win over No. 9 Saint Mary (Kan.).

    •  24 shots on goal
    • 12 assists

Defensive Player of the Week Gary Cutler, Madonna 5-10, FR, G, Southfield, Mich.

  • Cutler allowed just seven goals to No. 9 Saint Mary, while making several impressive saves to keep the Spires off the board
  • Weekly Stats
    • 24 saves, 6.0 average
    • 15 goals against
    • 509 save percentage
