2018 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week No. 4 (March 20)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kiarah Thomas of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Marie Klonowski of Lawrence Tech (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 12 - 19, and were chosen out of a pool of conference and unaffiliated group winners.

Offensive Player of the Week Kiarah Thomas, Ottawa 5-8, JR, M, San Diego, Calif.  

  • Thomas led the team to a 2-0 week against Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) and St. Ambrose (Iowa).

    • 18 goals
    • 25 shots on goal

Offensive Player of the Week Marie Klonowski, Lawrence Tech 5-7, SR, G, Gurnee, Ill.

  • Klonowski held the then ranked No. 4 Siena Heights (Mich.) to only two goals.
  • Weekly Stats
    •  Four total ground balls, 4.0 average
    • Five saves, only two goals against
    • 0.714 save percentage
