KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Hannah Boudreaux of Brenau (Ga.) has been named NAIA National Women's Swimmer & Diver of the Month for the 2012 - 2013 season, the national office announced Wednesday. Boudreaux was selected based on her performances in the month of February and the final honoree of the season. She was chosen out of a pool of candidates nominated by NAIA women's swimming & diving programs.
The Lafayette, La., native won three individual events she competed in during the month of February. Boudreaux won the 200-meter individual medley (2:06.73), 200-meter butterfly (2:05.01) and 400-meter individual medley (4:32.21) at the Appalachian Swim Conference Championships. With those times, she set three new conference records and a new Brenau school record. Boudreaux was also named Female Swimmer of the Year for the Appalachian Swim Conference.
