Palmer was selected based on his performance from April 22 – 28 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated group golfer of the week selections.
Palmer led the Stars to their fourth-straight and 19th all-time Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament championship by winning his second career individual conference crown April 23 at the Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club in Ardmore, Okla. The senior from Johannesburg, South Africa, tallied a tournament-high eight birdies en route to a 54-hole score of 219 (74-72-73).
