KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pablo Vilches of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the National office announced Wednesday. He was selected based on his performances from April 6 – 12 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Vliches went 6-0 (three singles matches and three doubles matches) during the week to help Lindsey Wilson to a 3-0 record.
• Playing at the No. 3 doubles position with Ignacio Huertas, the duo dropped just one game in doubles play in their three matches – Marian (Ind.) (8-1), Bethel (Tenn.) (8-0) and Cumberlands (Ky.) (8-0).
• In singles action, the senior rattled off three straight set wins, 6-0, 6-1; 6-1, 6-0; and 6-1, 6-4 against opponents from Marian, Bethel and Cumberlands, respectively.
• Vilches helped Lindsey Wilson lock up the Mid-South Conference regular-season title, and is individually 15-2 in doubles play and a perfect 18-0 in singles play this year.
The fifth edition of the Men’s Tennis Player of the Week will be revealed on April 22.
