2015 NAIA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week – No. 5 (April 22)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Camille Gbaguidi of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. She was selected based on her performances from April 13 – 19 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Gbaguidi continues to be an unstoppable force as her play this week helped the Bees capture The Sun Conference Championship title, 5-0, over sixth-ranked Embry-Riddle (Fla.).
• In the conference finals, Gbaguidi paired with Carolina Viteri to defeat the No. 3 doubles team in the NAIA, 9-7, in No. 1 doubles competition.
• With the win, SCAD Savannah (Ga.) also collects the conference’s automatic berth into the 2015 Women's Tennis National Championships on May 12-16.
• The freshman – who won the inaugural award of 2015 (March 25) – improves to 13-2 overall in singles play and 10-5 in doubles action this season.
