2015 NAIA Menís Cross Country Runner of the Week Ė No. 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sam Atkin of Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) has been named the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Atkin was selected for his performance on Sept. 1 and was selected out of a pool of conference/association of independent institutions award winners.

- Finished first out of 86 runners at the Washington State University Invite, which also served as the NCAA D1 PAC12 preview meet.
- Led the Warriors to a third-place team finish, first NAIA school.
- Recorded a 6k time of 17:35.
