2015 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo – Hannah Segrave of Milligan (Tenn.) has been named NAIA National Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday.  Segrave was selected based on her performance from Oct. 19-25 and was chosen out of a pool of conference runner of the week selections.

• Broke Milligan school record and USC Beaufort’s course record after finishing first out of 264 runners with a 17:15 5K in the Sand Shark Invitational on Oct. 24 in Hardeeville, S.C.
• New school record broke the previous mark set by 2003 NAIA Indoor Track 5k National Champion Marta Zimon (17:49).
• Received the Appalachian Athletic Conference Runner of the Week award four times this season, becoming the first Milligan runner to win the award more than three times in a season.
• This is her first career national runner of the week award.
