2015 NAIA Menís Soccer Player of the Week Ė No. 9 (Nov. 3)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jordan Trinci-Lyne of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Brin Lapuh of Grand View (Iowa) have been named NAIA National Players of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.  These two were selected based on their performance from Oct. 26 – Nov. 1 and were chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections.

National Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Trinci-Lyne of SCAD Savannah (Ga.)
Sr., F, Cheshire, England
• Netted both of the Bees goals in the 2-1 win over then-No. 16 Thomas (Ga.).
• Scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute to help his team to a win and 2-0 week.
• Ranks No. 9 in total game winning goals (5).
• Ranks No. 21 in total goals (14).
• This is his first career player of the week award.

National Defensive Player of the Week
Brin Lapuh, Grand View (Iowa)
So., GK, Ljubljana, Slovenia
• Totaled four saves in a two-overtime draw against then-No. 5 Missouri Valley.
• Recorded 52 saves this season with only 14 goals allowed.
• Ranked No. 21 in goals against per game (.880).
• This is his second career player of the week award, both from this season.
