KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Celia Mansour of William Woods (Mo.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Mansour was selected based on her performances from April 4 - 10 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Shot the two lowest rounds (72-73) in the Boone Hospital/WWU Spring Invite held April 5-6.
• Won the tournament by four strokes on the 5975 yard Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
• Finished one-over par throughout the two day tournament.
• Helped team to its sixth first-place finish of the year.
• This is her second career player of the week honor.
