NAIA Men's Swimmer of the Month – No. 2 (Feb. 4)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Simon Pheasant of Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) has been named the NAIA Men's Swimmer of the Month, the national office announced Wednesday. Pheasant was selected for his performances from Jan. 12 – Feb. 1. This is the second swimming honor of the 2014-15 season.

• Pheasant took first in 8-of-12 events he competed in, and finished runner-up in the remaining five races.
• The senior posted five victories in individual events and three wins in relay competition.
• The Alexandria, South Africa, native’s 50-meter free time of 21:14 on Jan. 17 in the NCAA Division I Oakland (Mich.) 2015 Winter Invite is currently sixth-best in the NAIA.
• Collects his first national award.
