KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Baliee Blankemeier of Concordia (Calif.) has been named the NAIA Women's Swimmer of the Month, the national office announced Wednesday. Tixier was selected for her performances from Jan. 12 – Feb. 1. This is the second swimming honor of the 2014-15 season.

• Blankemeier helped the fourth-ranked squad continue its stellar season by winning two out of three events on Jan. 31.
• Both of the freshman’s victories came against two quality NCAA Division II opponents (California Baptist and Fresno Pacific (Calif.).
• Her 400-meter individual medley time (4:33.30) set a new school record. Blankemeier set a 200-m fly program record earlier this season.
• This is the Phoenix, Ariz., native’s first national honor.
