2015 NAIA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week – No. 1 (March 25)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Camille Gbaguidi of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of The Week, the national office announced Wednesday. She was selected based on her performances from March 16 – 22 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Gbaguidi pulled two upsets in the Bees’ win over Cumberland (Tenn.) on March 16, one in singles and doubles action, respectively.
• She teamed up with Maria Barragan to defeat the No, 8 doubles team in the country, 9-7.
• Gbaguidi then defeated 16th-ranked Angelica Sepulveda in straight sets to clinch the match (6-2, 6-1).
• The freshman has played number one singles and doubles all year, and has compiled a 7-2 individual record, while going 6-3 in doubles.
