2015 NAIA Menís Tennis Player of the Week Ė No. 5 (April 22)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Stefan Kilchhofer of Vanguard (Calif.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. He was selected based on his performances from April 13 – 19 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Kilchhofer was a perfect 4-0 in the Golden State Athletic Conference Championships this week, claiming victory in two singles and two doubles matches.
• In his singles match against Westmont (Calif.) on April 16, the junior did not even have to finish the bout, as his 6-2, 5-0 start was good enough to advance in the bracket. He also defeated San Diego Christian (Calif.) (6-0, 6-2) on April 17 in singles play.
• In doubles action, Kilchhofer took down Westmont and San Diego Christian 8-2 and 8-2, respectively.
• The Basel, Switzerland, native is now 25-0 on the season, and has not lost a singles match since 2013.
