2015 NAIA Women’s Soccer Players of the Week – No. 9 (Nov. 3)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Samantha Silva of Middle Georgia State has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Bailey Stengler of Wayland Baptist (Texas) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday.

National Offensive Player of the Week
Samantha Silva, Middle Georgia State
So., F, Eatonton, Ga.

• Recorded four goals and two assists on the week.
• Her three goals, two assists and eight points against Brewton-Parker (Ga.) on Oct. 29th were career highs.
• Helped the Knights to a 2-0 week.
• This is her second career National Player of the Week award and her second this season.

National Defensive Player of the Week
Bailey Stengler, Wayland Baptist (Texas)
Jr., G, St. Charles, Ill.

• Logged 14 saves in two wins on the week.
• Owns a 6-2-2 record in goal this season.
• Recorded a season-high 11 saves in a 1-0 win over then-No. 23 Oklahoma City on Oct. 28.
• This is her first career National Player of the Week.
