2015-16 NAIA Menís Swimmer/Diver of the Month Ė No. 3 (Feb. 18)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Daniel Burjs of Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Swimmer/Diver of the Month, the national office announced Thursday. Ax was selected for his performance from Jan. 23 – Feb. 18. This is the last swimmer/diver award of the 2016 season.

Daniel Buijs, Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.)
Fr., Amersfoort, Netherlands
• Placed first in all seven events competed in at the Mid-South Conference Championship including: 200-individual medley, 100-backstroke and 200-backstroke.
• Also, a member of the first place 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays and 200 and 400-yard medley relays.
• Named swimmer and freshman of the year at the conclusion of the Mid-South Championships.
• Helped his team to a Mid-South Conference Championship with 663 points.
