2016 NAIA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week – No. 5 (April 20)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Katie Wilson of Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. She was selected based on her performances from April 11-17 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

Sr., Middletown, Ind.
• Led her team to a 5-4 win over NCAA Division II No. 28 Grand Valley State (Mich.) on April 16.
• Claimed victory in No. 1 singles (3-6, 6-1, 6-2) against Abby Perkins and No. 1 doubles (8-5) with partner Lucia Solis.
• Helped team to a 1-0 week en route to a 26-6 overall record.
• This is her second career player of the week honor.
