Motion: Definition of Meet
Change item #3 under Definition of a Cross Country Meet to read “distance between 3k and 6k for women and 4k and 10k for men.”APPROVED

Motion: TFRRS-XC
Institutions must ensure that the electronic submission of results for all meets in which their student-athletes compete are reported by the meet host to the Track and Field Results System for Cross Country (TFRRS-XC) through the online provider Direct Athletics. APPROVED

NAC Motion: Removal of Rater's Ballot 
National Oversight Committee of all sports have the ability to remove the national ballot in ONLY the final regular-season rating, if rationale is not provided by rater or rationale is not accepted by majority of national oversight. (This motion was submitted by NAC.) APPROVED

NAC Motion: Saturday Play & Cross Country National Championship
The NAC approved the moving of the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country National Championships from a Saturday to either a Friday or Monday, beginning in 2018-19, to accommodate NAIA institutions whose religious beliefs prevent Saturday participation. The determination on a final date for the coming years will be determined at a later date.

NAC Motion: Drug Testing
The NAC formally approved the policy manual for NAIA Drug Testing, which will begin in 2017-18. The Drug Education & Testing Committee has been working to develop the manual over the past several years. www.naia.org/wellness
