KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Aleksi Pahkasalo of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Alex Horton of Bryan (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.

National Offensive Player of the Week               
Aleski Pahkasalo, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)
5-9, Sr., MF, Vantaa, Finland

• In two matches this week, Pahkasalo recorded four goals and one assist, tallying nine points.
• In a Top 25 matchup against No. 23 Cumberland (Tenn.), Pahkasalo posted one goal and assist in a 3-0 Blue Raider victory.
• Recorded a hat trick against Pikeville (Ky.), marking his 12th multi-goal game of his career.
• This is Pahkasalo’s second Player of the Week award this year.

National Defensive Player of the Week
Alex Horton, Bryan (Tenn.)
6-4, So., GK, Nuneaton, England

• In three matches this week, Horton recorded three saves in 318 minutes, allowing only two goals.
• Horton notched a shutout against then-No. 7 Campbellsville (Ky.), marking his ninth on the year.
• Ranks No. 3 in the NAIA in goals against per game (0.41).
