2019 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week No. 1 (Feb. 26)

NAIA - Women's Lacrosse - Alex Millican - Point (Ga.)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Alexandra Millican of Point (Ga.) was named as the NAIA women’s lacrosse offensive player of the week and Jessica Covell of Keiser (Fla.) was names as the NAIA women’s defensive player of the week. The duo was chosen out of a pool of conference and group winners.

  • Millican led her team to a 2-0 week with wins over Truett McConnell (Ga.) and Univerisity of Dallas (Texas).

Defensive Player of the Week
Jessica Covell, Keiser (Fla.)

  • Covell helped to keep her team in the win column with a one-pointt win over Reinhardt (Ga.)
