NAIA Health and Safety: Mental Health

The NAIA recognizes that optimal health and safety – on and off the field – are required to learn and compete at a high level. In order to empower our student-athletes to fulfill their potential, we view protecting their health and safety as a priority. Typical mental health issues experienced by students include anxiety-related conditions, body image disorders, and depression. Here you will find resources regarding those conditions and how to best support your student-athletes experiencing mental health issues.
