Nancy Elstun

With the NAIA since 2000, Nancy Elstun currently serves as the NAIA’s front desk Receptionist. Nancy is often visitors’ first impression of the National Office as she welcomes guests and directs phone calls. She also schedules travel accommodations for the staff, generates yearly reminders and thank you letters and keeps databases current.
Prior to her appointment as Receptionist, Nancy worked as the Administrative Assistant for both the Capital Campaign and the Champions of Character program. Nancy brings 20 years of administrative experience to the NAIA after serving as a secretary for various elementary schools in the Shawnee Mission School District and an Executive Secretary for the Shawnee Mission District Office as well as the Administrative Assistant for the NCAA’s Championships Department.
After attending Kent State University, Nancy began her career as a flight attendant and intermittently worked in the travel industry for 16 years. She remains involved through her association with the Kansas City Chapter of TWA Clipped Wings International and has served as Secretary and President.
Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Nancy and her late husband Gene raised their three children in Kansas City. She currently lives in Olathe, KS.
