NAIA and the NJCAA Announce Partnership
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is partnering with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for international credential evaluation. The NJCAA will officially endorse InCred, a streamlined international credential evaluation service.
Primary benefits for participating NJCAA members include InCred’s ability to provide a clear and consistent method of evaluating academic records for international students and determining U.S. equivalency as it applies to admissions, eligibility, and transfer credits.
InCred offers basic reviews and course-by-course breakdowns of credit and grade conversions. While 95 percent of all InCred evaluations are completed within 10 business days, expedited evaluations are also available within two to five days.
“The NJCAA is pleased to partner with the NAIA to endorse InCred. Our association takes great pride in its academic resources that we provide to our membership and we believe this will assure a smooth transition for international student-athletes and their future,” said Christopher Parker, NJCAA Executive Director.
“We are proud to partner with the NJCAA in assisting their member institutions with international student services. This partnership will help student-athletes simplify the eligibility process and is a win-win for both NJCAA members and student-athletes alike,” said Leah McCormack, NAIA Vice President of Eligibility Services.
Since 2011, the NAIA has emerged as a leader in evaluating international student-athlete academic documents, launching InCred’s services in 2015 and expanding to include all international students. Students receive timely, reliable, and easy-to-understand evaluations of their international education that helps U.S. institutions easily apply admissions and eligibility rules.
