KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Nick Malvini hauled in NAIA Baseball Player of the Week honors after fueling Westcliff (Calif.), currently 4-2 on the year, to two wins last week. The outfielder went 6-for-11 at the plate with seven RBIs, three home runs, and a double.

The senior recorded a .545 batting average across last week's games. 

In Saturday's doubleheader against Nelson (Ariz.), Malvini proved the difference for Westcliff at the plate, finishing with multiple extra-base hits and six RBIs across the two games. His performance continues an early-season power surge that has already matched his home run total from last year, with six long balls so far.

The Warriors return to action today at 6 p.m. PT against Bethesda before taking on Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) in a four-game series this weekend.
