KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Carnilious Simmons of Dalton State (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Basketball National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Simmons was chosen for his performances from January 8 – 14 and was selected out of a pool conference award winners.

- In 74-65 victory against Blue Mountain (Miss.) on Jan. 9, Simmons tied for the NAIA season-high with 25 rebounds.

- Averaged 23.0 points, 18.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks in two victories
- Season high 25 points in win vs Blue Mountain (Miss.)
- Shot 48.6% from the field
