NAIA Men?s Soccer Players of the Week ? No. 4 (Sept. 30)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Akram El-Nady of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Andy Clark of Union (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the n-national office announced Tuesday.

National Defensive Player of the Week
Andy Clark of Union (Ky.)
A 6-0 SO GK from Glasglow, Scotland

• Helped lead undefeated Bulldogs to two wins last week that included a shutout against defending national champion and then-No. 4 Martin Methodist (Tenn.).
• Registered a combined 10 saves, including nine in 3-2 win over Tennessee Wesleyan.
• Ranks second in NAIA in goals against average (0.43).
• Earns first career NAIA National Player of the Week honor.

National Offensive Player of the Week
Akram El-Nady of Kansas Wesleyan
A 5-11 SR F from Pasadena, Calif.

• Helped lead Coyotes to victory over No. 8 Hastings (Neb.) in the Tourbeau Sports NSCAA Game of the Week.
• Registered hat trick, as KWU scored five second-half goals to knock off Hastings on its home Akram El-Nadyfield.
• Became second Coyote to win National Player of the Week this season joining goalkeeper Blessing Ngwa (Sept. 17).
• Earns first career NAIA National Player of the Week honor.
