2015 NAIA Men?s Tennis Player of the Week ? No. 2 (April 1)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Brendan Aguilar of San Diego Christian (Calif.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of The Week, the national office announced Wednesday. He was selected based on his performances from March 23 – 29 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Aguilar was unbeaten in six matches this week (6-0), as he picked up wins in three singles and three doubles competitions from March 24-28.
• The sophomore allowed no more than two sets in any of his singles matches, and four sets was his highest total allowed in doubles play (an 8-4 score against Arizona Christian on March 24).
• In singles competition, Aguilar swept Arizona Christian (6-0, 6-0). In defeat, NCAA Division III Whitworth (Wash.) managed to win one set at 6-1, 6-0.
• Aguilar, who earned his first national award, leads the sixteenth-ranked Hawks against No. 10 Westmont (Calif.) on April 7.
