2018 NAIA Men's Tennis National Player of the Week - No. 1 (March 21)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Joshua Turnquest of Asbury (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Turnquest was selected based on his performances from March 14 – 20 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Won all six matches he played in without dropping a set
• Turnquest helped lead Asbury to a perfect 3-0 week with wins over Fairmont State College (W.Va.), SCAD Savannah (Ga.), and Webber International (Fla.)
• Joshua, ranked No 30 in singles, defeated then-No. 24 Hugo Hasegawa 7-5, 6-4 from Webber International
• Turnquest is 11-1 in singles and 11-3 in doubles on the season
