NAIA MVB Top 10 Poll Remains the Same

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the second time this season the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Top 10 poll held serve with the same 10 teams being ranked as the week prior, with the first instance coming in week four on Feb. 15.

No. 1 Missouri Baptist has been a constant at the top spot, as they enter this week a perfect 21-0.

No. 2 Grand View has also kept the No. 2 spot for the entirety of the 2016 season. The Vikings are 11-4 overall and defeated No. 4 St. Ambrose on Mar. 5 in a five-set thriller (25-18, 25-27, 24-26, 25-19, 15-13).

No. 3 Graceland has been impressive throughout the season with its 17-2 record and went 2-0 last week with wins over Briar Cliff and King College both in three sets.

With the loss to No. 2 Grand View, that ended No. 4 St. Ambrose’s 12-match winning streak. After the loss to the Vikings, the Bees defeated Hannibal-LaGrange and Morningside.

No. 5 Warner went 3-0 last week and moved to 17-4, while No. 6 Park also had a perfect week with wins over Dordt and No. 7 Clarke both in three sets, moving to 12-7 overall.

No. 7 Clarke fell to 16-5 with its loss to Park and No. 8 Lourdes had a tough week last week, falling to No. 1 Missouri Baptist in three sets, but bounced back with a three set win over NCAA Division I IPFW in three sets.

No. 9 Robert Morris and No. 10 Missouri Valley again round out the Top 10 this week.
