BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – In the final regular season installment of the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Top 10 poll, Grand View (Iowa) made the largest leap, from No. 5 a week ago to No. 3 this week.

The Vikings picked up two home wins over ranked teams on Mar. 30 and Mar. 31, as they defeated then-No. 8 Clarke (Iowa) in five sets (24-26, 25-20, 17-25, 25-18, 15-11) and then-No. 3 Graceland (Iowa) in five (25-19, 24-26, 21-25, 25-17, 15-11) to move to 16-6 overall and 7-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings, capturing the regular season championship.

With the Vikings jumping to No. 3, Graceland fell to No. 4 and Clarke moved into a tie with Lourdes (Ohio) for the No. 7 spot.

No. 1 Missouri Baptist continued its reign as the nations top team. The Spartans moved to 2-0 against rival No. 6 Park (Mo.) this season with a four set win over the Pirates on Mar. 30, (25-21, 21-25, 27-25, 25-17).

MBU will host the AMC/GPAC/KCAC Conference Tournament this weekend and the 2016 NAIA Men’s Volleyball National Invitational Tournament Championship, presented by Tachikara on Apr. 20-23 in St. Louis, Missouri.

No. 2 Warner ended the regular season 21-5 and hosts the Independent Conference Tournament this weekend.

No. 5 St. Ambrose (Iowa) ended its regular season with a road loss at Cardinal Stritch (Wisc.), (25-17, 27-29, 18-25, 23-25). But captured the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) tournament as the regular season champion.

No. 7 Lourdes will host the Mideast Conference tournament on Apr. 8-9 in Sylvania, Ohio. The Gray Wolves went a perfect 6-0 in conference play.

No. 9 Robert Morris (Ill.) ended its CCAC regular season 30-7 and 8-2 in conference play, and will serve as the No. 2 seed in this weekend’s conference tournament.

While No. 10 Hope International (Calif.) will travel to Lake Wales, Florida this weekend to compete in the Independents Tournament at No. 2 Warner.
