Vikings pitcher Madeline Waldorf delivered an impressive performance, securing the win with a complete game shutout. Waldorf allowed only five hits and three walks, while striking out two batters over seven innings. This victory improved Waldorf's season record to 15-3. On the other side, Cumberlands' pitcher, Lindsey Shope, also pitched a full game but was tagged with the loss, bringing her season record to 23-4. The game’s scoring was initiated by GVU in the second inning when Reese Cooley hit a sacrifice fly to right field, allowing Samantha Holbert to score.
