2018 NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week (December 11, 2018)
Kansas City, Mo. – Vanessa Murphy of Vanguard (Calif.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Murphy was nominated for her performances during the week of Dec. 3 – 9 and was selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

- Recorded a double-double against No. 11 Westmont (Calif.) in a 63-57 winning effort.
- Weekly Stats:
- Averaged 20 points per game.
- Netted 22 points and 13 rebounds against Westmont.
- Shot 53 percent from the floor over the course of two games.
