No. 5 Goshen (Ind.) comes away with a win in close game

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – (Box Score) No. 5 Goshen (Ind.) advances on to second round play after a tight back and fourth game against No. 4 Concordia (Neb.) in the 2016 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship. This is the first national championship win for the Maple Leafs.
Goshen went 30-65 from the field and 18-22 from the charity stripe, creating 19 turnovers and grabbing 38 total rebounds.
Four athletes from Goshen recorded double-digit points including the winning three shot by Lynnia Noel who finished with 13 points with five seconds left on the clock. Gabby Williams (19), Tyra Carver (17) and Keshia Ward (14) also helped their team to a win.
For Concordia, four athletes from tallied double-digits including, 24 from freshman Quinn Wragge who also pulled down 10 rebounds earning her third double-double of the season. Sydney Feller (15), Erin Vieselmeyer (13), and Becky Mueller (23) also helped.
Goshen advances to second round play on Friday at 10:15 a.m.
