NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Player of the Week ? No. 9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maya Ah You Dias of Eastern Oregon has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Ah You Dias was nominated for her performances during the week of Jan. 28 – Feb. 3 and was selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

  • Ah You Dias led Eastern Oregon to a pair of roads wins, by averaging a double-double (38.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game). She set a new program record with 45 points in a 94-91 double-OT win over Northwest (Wash.). In that same game, she brought down a career-high 17 rebounds and shot 15-of-25 from the field. In the second game of the week, she added 32 points and six rebounds.
  • Weekly Stats:
    • 45 points, 17 rebounds, four assists and two steals in a win over Northwest (Wash.), 94-91.
    • 32 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in a win over Evergreen (Wash.).
    • Averages: 38.5 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game, 57.4-percent (27-of-47) from the field and 61.1-percent (11-of-18) from the 3-point line.
