2018-19 NAIA Women's Swimmer/Diver of the Month ? No. 1 (Dec. 13)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Andrea Vega of Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) was named the NAIA women’s swimmer/diver of the month, announced the national office on Thursday.

  • Vega did not finish below first place in an individual race until the end of November since first starting competition in October.
  • The senior has notched NAIA “A” time standards in all of her individual and relay races.
  • The Illinois native also surpassed the Perry Center Pool records in the 100 and 200 breast-stroke this season
