2018 NAIA Women's Tennis National Player of the Week - No. 5 (April 18)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emerald Able of Georgia Gwinnett has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Able was selected based on her performances from April 11 - April 17 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Able helped lead the No. 2 ranked Grizzlies to a 2-0 week that included 9-0 victories against then-No. 14 Breneau (Ga.) and NCAA Division II opponent University of North Georgia
• Able was perfect, winning all four matches at No. 1 singles and doubles without dropping a set
• The sophomore has an impressive 13-1 record in doubles and a 12-2 record in singles on the season
