NAIA Volleyball Player of the Week ? No. 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kristin Pressley of Oklahoma Baptist has been named the NAIA Volleyball National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Pressley was selected based on her performances from Sept.23 - 29 and was chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections among 23 conferences and independents.
Pressley, a 5-foot-11 senior outside hitter averaged 5.63 kills per set, 5.38 digs per set and hit for a .303 attack clip as the Bison posted two, 3-1 victories last week. The native of Mansfield, Texas, set a season-high with 27 kills and added 18 digs and two service aces in the win against SAGU (Texas) on Sept. 26. Two days later, she recorded 25 digs, which is two-shy of her season-high, to go along with 18 kills in a road win at No. 22 Wayland Baptist (Texas). Pressley ranks sixth in the NAIA in kills per game (4.4) and 21st in total kills (254).
