KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Christianah Ogunsanya of William Penn (Iowa) garnered the NAIA Women's Wrestler of the Week award after aiding the Statesmen to the NAIA division title at the For Her Duals in Coralville, Iowa.  The 117-pounder produced a 4-0 record on the day behind three wins by tech fall, and one by decision. Her day was highlighted with a victory over No. 1 Salyna Shotwell of Life, 11-4. In her last match of the day, she won by technical fall over Ava Bayless of Iowa.

William Penn trumped Indiana Tech and Ottawa before pulling off the upset over No. 1 Life, 23-20. The Statesmen fell to Iowa 30-13 in the last dual of the day. 

WPU is back on the mat on Feb. 11 as they host Central Methodist in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
