NAIA Women?s Cross Country Runner of the Week - No. 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hannah Fields of Oklahoma Baptist has been named the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Fields was chosen for her performance during the week of Sept. 22-28 and was selected out of a pool of conference and independent award winners.

This is the second such award this season for Fields.

Fields, a senior from Edmond, Okla., clocked a 17:27 to take first-place overall at the NCAA Division I Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree on Sept. 27. In the small university division, Fields defeated 160 other runners. Overall, she took second place when comparing her time to NCAA Division I competitors from the likes of Oklahoma State, Creighton and Belmont.

The fifth Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week will be revealed Oct. 8.
