NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week — No. 4 (Sept. 27)

 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anna Shields of Point Park (Pa.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Shields was selected for her performance from Sept. 18-24 and was selected out of a pool of conference/association of independent institutions award winners.

  • Ran a 6K with a time of 21:12
  • Finished 1st out of 230 runners at the Lock Haven University Open
  • Meet was comprised of runners from NCAA Division I & II
  • Time beat the rest of the field by 29 seconds
