OLATHE, Kan. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is teaming up with CSTV Networks to televise the 51st Annual NAIA Football National Championship on Saturday, December 16, 2006, live, with kickoff slated for noon (CT). University of Saint Francis (Ind.) makes its third consecutive trip to the national championship game looking for its first title and will take on University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) who won the title in 1996, at Jim Carroll Stadium in Hardin County, Tenn. CSTV's team of play-by-play voice Jonathan Coachman and analyst Chris Rix will call the action.

A special presentation of the game will be available nationally live and On Demand via Internet video streaming for $9.95. To sign up, or for more information, go to http://www.cstv.com/cstvppv/football/.

"The relationship with CSTV as a media partner dedicated to telling the story of NAIA national championships is great for NAIA membership, coaches, student-athletes and fans," said NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr. "This is a wonderful opportunity for the NAIA and its members to showcase and celebrate the success of their student-athletes to a national audience."

Saint Francis secured a spot in the national championship with wins over Walsh (Ohio), 42-3, Bethel (Tenn.), 42-35 and Saint Xavier (Ill.), 49-20.  Under the direction of Head Coach Kevin Donley, the Cougars are ranked No. 1 in scoring offense in the NAIA with an average of 41.1 points per game.

The University of Sioux Falls, coached by Kalen DeBoer, in his second season at the helm, mapped its way to Tennessee with wins against Jamestown (N.D.), 48-10, Morningside (Iowa), 37-7 and Missouri Valley, 25-18. Leading up to the title game Sioux Falls has silenced its opponents at the goal line, holding the opposition to 6.4 points per game while scoring 39.8 and out-gaining opponents 5,888 to 2,287 on the season.

This is the fourth year of a multi-year NAIA agreement with CSTV for live television coverage to televise the football and all four basketball national championships. CSTV also operates the official NAIA Web site, www.naia.org. There are more than 45,000 student-athletes competing at NAIA colleges and universities nationwide and over 550 teams participating in football and men's and women's basketball combined.
