NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Player of the Week ? No. 5
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Haylen Washington of Coastal Georgia has been named the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Washington was chosen for his performances from January 1 – 7 and was selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

• Washington averaged 30.3 and 10 rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Mariners that included a 76-74 victory over then-No. 13 Dalton State (Ga.) and a 118-111 win over then-No. 7 Southeastern (Fla.).

o Averaged 30.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals.
o Tallied a week-high 34 points against
