Houdeshell Inducted into NACDA Hall of Fame

NEW ORLEANS - American Mideast Conference Commissioner Jim Houdeshell was one of 22 inducted into the National Association of Collegiate  Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Hall of Fame on June 22 at the 41st Annual NACDA Convention.

The current conference commissioner of the American Mideast Conference, Houdeshell  has held that position for 13 years. Additionally, he serves as the primary contact for the Mid-States Football League.  Through the years, he has been the athletics director, the cross country, men's basketball, track and field, baseball and football coach at the University of Findlay (Ohio). 

Houdeshell was president of the NAIA, he NAIA Athletics Directors Association andwas heavily involved in many facets of the NAIA.  A member of the 1980 NAIA Hall of Fame class as a coach, he also garnered the association's  Athletics Administrator of the Year Award in 2001-02.
