Final Basketball Opening Round Hosts Set
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Thursday the final group of hosts for the 2022 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Basketball National Championship Opening Rounds, presented by Ballogy.
Eight sites will host both men’s and women’s opening round sites. Thomas More (Ky.) (Crestview Hills, Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan (Marion, Ind.), Southeastern (Fla.) (Lakeland, Fla.), Loyola (La.) (New Orleans, La.), Omaha Sports Commission (Omaha, Neb.), Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (Park City, Kan.), Visit Wichita/Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (Wichita, Kan.) and LSU Alexandria (La.) (Alexandria, La.).
Each opening round site will feature four teams and will play single elimination on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12. The winner of the final game will go to the NAIA National Championship Final Site in either Sioux City, Iowa (women) or Kansas City, Mo. (men).
