Summer Update 2015
Aug. 1, 2015 NAC Motion: Teams may use both the Rawlings ST-5 and the new Rawlings R2 model footballs during the Football Championship Series (rather than just the ST-5 model). DENIED NAC Motion: Teams may use both the Rawlings ST-5 and the new Rawlings R2 model during the Football Championship through the 2015-16 year, to be evaluated at 2016 Convention (Miller). NAC Motion: Eliminate pre-game handshake & student-athlete lineup from the Football Championship Series manual. APPROVE Declaration of Intent - If a Varsity program will not fulfill the Declaration of Intent commitment, the deadline to undeclare is four weeks prior to the start of postseason competition. Postseason Team Rosters - Postseason rosters will be filled out via the SIDHelp admin website. You must have an account in order to fill out a postseason roster. If you don't have an account, please sign up and create your won. Your access will be granted (usually) within 24 hours. Reporting Statistics - All official game statistics must be submitted by each institution within 72 hours of completion of a contest via Dakstats Websync. Should a member institution fail to file statistical information on any athlete for two consecutive weeks or a total of four weeks during the national statistical reporting period; the institution shall be penalized in the following manner: The first violation will be a warning. A second violation (first penalty), will be a $500 fine. The third violation will be a $1,000 fine and a loss of postseason awards. the fourth violation will be a $1,000 fine and will be addressed at the discretion of the Council. Reporting Results- In order for schools to be eligible for ratings, results from contestes must be reported to the NAIA Scoreboard within 24 hours of the completion of the contest. 
Official Ball - Rawlings is the official championship ball of the NAIA (ST5).

WEEKLY RATINGS DEADLINES Weekly ratings will be posted online by 5:00pm (central) on Tuesdays. Ratings include games played Monday through Sunday. The 2015-2016 ratings dates are: National Player of the Week nominations are due on Tuesdays by noon (central). Nominations must be submitted by the conference/independenct SID/contact and filled out completely in SIDHelp NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER INFO Potential Qualifier Packet (General Info, Opening Round, Final Site.) Potential qualifier information is available four to six weeks prior to the championship. OTHER Character-Driven Coaching Course — All new NAIA coaches must complete the course within the first 60 days from the effective date of employment. Conduct in Competition Guide Procedures for all NAIA Contests — This guide offers practical recommendations for home and visiting insititution review of their responsibilities before, during and after the game to meet the NAIA standards for behavior during all NAIA competition.
