Georgia Gwinnett Regains No. 1 in Second Regular-Season Men's Tennis Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Georgia Gwinnett is the No. 1 team in NAIA Men's Tennis for the first time since April 2025, taking over the top spot in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll after the Grizzlies claimed their third-consecutive ITA Indoor title earlier this month.

GGC earned 10 first-place votes, while the previous No. 1, Keiser (Fla.), fell two spots to No. 3 despite gathering the remaining first-place nod. Tennessee Wesleyan is No. 2, and the remainder of the top 10 was filled with the same names as the last poll, although Cumberlands (Ky.) did move into a tie at No. 7 with Holy Cross (Ind.). Arizona Christian is the only new team in this week's poll, checking in at No. 24.

The next poll will be released on March 11, at NAIA.org.

Poll Methodology

  • The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
  • A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
  • The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
    • 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
  • The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
  • Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
  • For the Preseason Poll, there is no "previous ranking" column since it is the initial poll and differs from the prior rating system.
