2019 NAIA Baseball Players of the Week (April 23, 2019)

Kansas City, Mo. – Jake Sola of York (Neb.) has been named the NAIA National Baseball Player of the Week and Niall Windeler of British Columbia has been named the NAIA National Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The pair were honored for their performances from April 15 – 21 and were selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

  • Tossed a nine-inning no-hitter against Oregon Tech in a 6-0 victory
  • Weekly Stats:
    • 10 Strikeouts, 106 pitches
    • Zero walks, 27 batters faced
    • One fielding error away from a perfect game

  • Five of his six hits over the course of four games were home runs
