KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Daniel Norris of McPherson (Kan.) has been named NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week after breaking a school record with 14 strikeouts in a single game against York (Neb.), earning his fourth win of the season on the mound.

The Bulldogs went on to sweep the series 3-0, with scores of 9-1, 16-3, and 5-4.

Norris tossed eight innings in game one, allowing no runs on just two hits while leading McPherson to the 9-1 victory.

The Bulldogs are 19-17 overall and 16-9 in conference play. They return to action on April 8 against Kansas Wesleyan.
