Noah Dowler Fires One-Hit Shutout with 11 Strikeouts to Earn Weekly Pitching Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Noah Dowler of IU South Bend (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week after delivering a masterful performance on the mound.

The junior right-hander tossed a complete-game one-hit shutout on Saturday, striking out 11 over nine innings. Dowler faced just 32 batters in the outing, allowing only a single hit while issuing four walks in a composed, efficient performance.

Dowler was especially effective in key moments, recording multiple three-up, three-down innings and striking out the side in critical frames to maintain control throughout the game. He closed out the victory in 113 pitches, securing the shutout win.

IU South Bend returns to action at 7 p.m. on April 14 against Indiana Tech.
